Beautiful, effortless and made for movement.

The Meera Dress is cut in 100% cotton with a tiered, gathered skirt that gives a fit-and-flare silhouette. Elbow-length puff sleeves, a square neckline, pockets and an elasticated back make the fit as considered as the print. The lining is made from the softest 100% cotton, an important detail we considered while designing this outfit. This black and white Chintz print started life as a hand-painted watercolour, with every flower and geometric detail painted by hand, before being brought to fabric as a digital print. A handmade cotton boho maxi dress for women that wears well to a vacation or a wedding, or anywhere you want to be remembered.

No synthetics, ever.

What fabric is this and how do I care for it?

100% Cotton (Outer), 100% Cotton (Lining)
Machine wash at 30º, iron inside out on medium heat, wash with similar colors, dry on low heat

Is this ethically and responsibly made?

Yes. Every Amaya piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in India who are paid fair wages. We work closely with artisan communities to preserve traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations. We also believe nothing should go to waste. Our leftover fabric scraps are crafted into bags and accessories. Anything too small to use is recycled into paper or used as mattress filling. Every purchase supports this circular approach.

Where is this Made?

Every Amaya piece is handcrafted in Jaipur, India — the historic heart of India's block-printing and embroidery tradition. Our founder Devika personally visits our artisan partners to ensure safe working conditions, careful craftsmanship, and fair wages. We work with a workshop that specifically supports women artisans through skills training and development, helping preserve centuries-old craft techniques while creating meaningful, skilled employment for women in the community.

What is Amaya's zero-waste policy?

Nothing goes to waste at Amaya. Leftover fabric scraps are crafted into our bags and accessories. Anything too small to use is recycled into paper or used as mattress filling.
